Maurice Hicks of the 49ers had 63 kick returns (#1 in NFL)

Nate Burleson of the Seahawks had 58 punt returns (#1 in the NFL)

Joshua Cribbs of the Browns had 1809 kick return yards (#1 in NFL)

Ellis Hobbs of the Patriots had the longest kick return of 108 yards

Obviously you all know who we begin with.

1. Devin Hester- KR-934, 2 tds. PR-651, 4 tds.(enough said!)

2. Joshua Cribbs(CLE)- KR-1,809, 2 tds. PR-405, 1 td (had an amazing return against the Steelers)

3. Maurice Hicks(SF)-1502. (The only bright spot they had)

4. Ted Ginn JR(MIA)-1433. PR-230, 1 td.(Eh, it's Miami)

5. Glenn Holt(CIN)-1,432 1 td. (nice compliment to a declining team, now only if the defense could stop someone)
1. Devin Hester, Bears. Proven indisputably the best. The only kick returner I can name who has kept his team in games all on his own.

2. Josh Cribbs, Browns. Rising star, will be used more on offense next year.

3. Darren Sproles, Chargers. He's small, fast, and he's got all the moves. Sproles is an excellent return man, and his numbers prove it.

4. DeSean Jackson, Eagles. I fully realize that this is my only selection that people could really argue with, but try arguing with this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=DPXSzia2Zfg

He was indisputably the bestcollegereturn man I've ever seen, and I would be SHOCKED if he isn't instantly one of the best return men in the NFL.

5. Ted Ginn, Dolphins. He actually returned kicks and punts quite well last year, despite not much help from his teammates. His numbers don't fully reflect how well he played, because he had multiple long touchdown returns called back for stupid holding penalties.
Why bother asking this question...you know what the answer is... Hester is No.1 by a long shot! The next 4 guys dont even matter... but hey, Devin can't beat the Oakland Special Teams coverage...we TACKLED his butt so good last year! He was crying on camera the next day.

But for real he is da best.
